DREAM FROM GRANDPA-CRACY!
The days of a man is like a passing fleet, saith Grandpa-cracy. I remember the days of our young democracy, when the Jack was lowered for Green and White and the staff of leadership given to Tafa-cracy.
Hopes were high, aspiration were aloft, young graduates dreamed dreams and old men saw vision of a Nigeria were Freedom, Justice, Fairplay and Equality reigned supreme and tribalism, mediocrity, sycophancy and corruption were sacrificed as scape goat at the desert of oblivion saith my Grandpa-cracy.
When the rain of corruption, acrimony and strife felled like the monsoons of Pakistan, Nzeogwu-cracy sent our democracy packing and Dondan barracks reigned supremacy.
The hope, aspiration and destiny of the young men of this young democracy was shattered when martial music became Makossa of our Radio stations and Khaki boys became our Wizkid-cracy.
But Grandpa-cracy as a complacent compatriot has taught me to continue to dream dreams of a Nigeria were justice, fair play and equality will be hallowed, a Nigeria free from Boko-cracy, Haram-cracy and incident like Chibok-cracy.
A Nigeria that will see enthronement of intellectual minds and refined thinkers, a Nigeria where Professors and Academias will matter in politics and governance of our Dying-cracy.
This we can do by making sure you don't sell your vote, these you can do by making sure that your voice is heard, this we can do by sending a shocking message to Aso rock that ENOUGH MUST BE ENOUGH.
From Grandpa-cracy, we will never stop dreaming until we create a Nigeria of our 'DREAM'.
